Company
Glocent is the culmination of Alan Marrott’s (president and CEO) 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Established in July of 2001, Glocent was formed as a response to Mr. Marrott’s conviction that business’ final remaining software frontier is Incentive Compensation Management.
After spending years building and maintaining CRM, Billing and Compensation systems, Mr. Marrott concluded that only in the past few years has the technology come available that could accommodate the complex and dynamic nature of incentive management. After spending two years developing the original client-server model of Glocent, it was installed at Time Warner Cable of New York. That system remains in place today.
In 2007, the second version of Glocent, a true web-based solution, was introduced to the market. This has allowed the company to expand its sights to the global market. The company now has clients that use Glocent to support sales teams around the world. These clients come from several industries including: Finance, Communications, Manufacturing, Energy, Software, Real Estate, Recruiting and Insurance.

"Glocent represents a significant milestone for ICM. As we deploy Glocent our innovative approach to ICM is being validated both qualitatively and quantitatively. Our customers' administrators enjoy the ease of use and flexibility the product provides them. And the ability Glocent provides them to accurately calculate commissions brings a calculable positive ROI by reducing overpayments. Perhaps more importantly, it provides the ability to align sales strategy to sales commissions and incentives and increase sales performance. To know that something we have created can accommodate the complexities and dynamic requirements of the most complex programs and make it not only manageable, but profitable, brings me great satisfaction."
Mr. Marrott graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Management Information Systems.

Having known and respected Alan Marrott since 1995, Mr. Metzger joined Glocent in 2004 as Director of International Business Development and Operations, where the internationalization and application of GloCent has had its own set of unique challenges. Mr. Metzger states, "Never before, have I seen a single product cause more polarization within a company; either Glocent is recognized as an absolute necessity to achieve a competitive advantage, or its value remains shrouded by out-dated incentive management paradigms. Executives and managers who look to the future and understand how to create long-term profitability recognize a very direct, applicable correlation."
